The "Oui-Oui Combo" patch allows one to use 2 Wii Remotes to control any MIDI device. I build on the work of others who developed frameworks and external objects to get the raw data that streams from the hardware devices. I take the raw accelerometer data and do some peak detection to allow for Note On and Off data to be triggered, as well as allow for the extraction of Continuous Controller (CC) data. I have built some features which allow a user to make adjustments to sensitivity, note number, note duration, MIDI channel and CC number. The intent was to build an "instrument" for my performance and composition work, which would allow for some level of control, but also introduce its own idiosyncratic effects and influences on my audio and video work.
